Create internal and external promotions and incentives for signing up new HOSE DOCTORS and recruiting new Owner/Operators

Recruit 16 new HOSE DOCTORS to the Parker Hannifin network

Solution

Parker Hannifin HOSE DOCTORS® are a network of independently owned, mobile service technicians built around a commitment to identify and replace hose assemblies wherever their customers need service. “The Year of the HOSE DOCTOR” marks the first year that HOSE DOCTORS could branch out beyond the hose replacement business. Existing mobile businesses could add hose replacement to their service menus without being limited to it.

To support this new business model, dR created recruitment materials to get the word out—inside and out. The highlight of these promotions was a component in the internal promotion kit:

  • Chinese take-out box containing a USB drive loaded with reference materials and supporting documents
  • Lanyard (for tradeshow use)
  • Restaurant gift card
  • Customized fortune cookies

Results: Reinvigorated HOSE DOCTORS recruitment and tripled the goal of signing up 16 new HOSE DOCTORS by signing up 48.
