Focus on what you love. Then flow with it and let it go. This is hard for me, but it’s my thing for this year. I wish I could write better about it! But I’ll flow, and then let it go.
If I think about what fulfills me and what I love, it’s building meaningful relationships with people. Even if it’s not a close relationship, I’ll try to make it close enough so that they know I care and I’m looking out for them and the company they work for.
At the end of the day, I am lucky to do what I love — build healthy brands and provide our clients with impeccably designed, well written representations of their brands. So this year, I am going to do something different. I will remain one step removed from the day to day and focus more on connecting with people and on what they need. As a business owner, it’s what I have always dreamed about doing — spending time with people, listening to them, hearing about what is important, what they are trying to do, or be, or change. Then I let go and let my team do what they do best.
I am not a therapist, but I love helping people. I want to focus on what I love and help more people in and around behavioral health and addiction treatment. Hopefully I can, in my own small but focused way, help them take care of even more people.
