Matt Farrell
Project Manager
Born and raised in Buffalo, New York, Matt attended Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio, where he earned a B.S. in software engineering and an M.B.A. with a concentration in Marketing.
Matt worked for Rockwell Automation and Rockwell Software in various software engineering and product marketing roles. In 2000, Matt left Rockwell to raise their 3 children while Kelly focused on growing designRoom. He helped out with some marketing projects starting in 2001, and gradually became more active at designRoom when the kids were older.
Matt is especially valuable as Project Manager, tracking all the components of branding and marketing projects. Additionally, he’s our liaison with IT and Legal, and moonlights as our HR department. Give him a problem. He’ll solve it.
“Being nimble and scrappy means doing what you need to do, even if it’s in a different way than you’ve done it before.”
